These examinations are done Monday to Friday by appointment only. Our booking office will
contact you with an appointment date and time. As no daycare service provisions are available, please make alternate arrangements for your children. Please make sure to bring your Health Card and have it ready each time you visit the hospital. Due to the high volume of patients, please arrive at least 30 minutes early for your appointment. PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
It is important that these instructions are followed carefully, since the
success of the x-ray examination depends upon a well-prepared emptyand clean bowel. Two Bisacodyl Pills and Two Bisacodyl Suppositories may be obtained at a drugstore. The Day Before The Examination
Diet during the day should be light such as: Canned or well cooked,tender vegetables, clear chicken and meat broth, cooked cereals,Arrowroot, cottage cheese, custard, rice, canned fruit, etc.
At 7:00 p.m., take the 2 bisacodyl pills and insert 1 bisacodyl suppository. DO NOT eat after your supper at 5:30 p.m. Early In The Morning Of The Examination
At 6:00 a.m., insert 1 bisacodyl suppository.
Take no food before the examination. You may drink a small amount of water or juice only. Do not drink coffee, tea or pop prior to the exam. Please proceed to the Diagnostic Imaging reception area on the Ground Floor –Tower B –we are located next to Emergency. puisque la reussite de votre examen depend de la preparationmeticuleuse de vos intestines. Vos intestins doivent etre vides et aussipropre que possible. Les pillules Bisacodyl et les suppositores Bisacodyl peuvent etre achetes a la pharmacie en ville. La journee avant votre examen:
Prenez vos repas tres leger comprenant des aliments tels que: les
legumes en conserve ou autres legumes tendres (bien cuits), du bouillon,cer
conserve. N.B. Ne mangez rien apres votre souper a 5:30 p.m.
A 7:00 p.m. prenez 2 pillules bisacodyl et inserez 1 suppositoire
De bonne heure le matin de votre examen:
A 6:00 a.m. inserez un autre suppositoire bisacodyl.
Ne mangez rien avant votre examen. Vous pouvez boire seulementune
