SPARKLING WINE & CHAMPAGNE Dal Zotto Pucino Prosecco NV An easy drinking Italian style sparkling with a lovely grapey taste and fresh finish. This Australian sparkling goes from strength to strength. It has a slight yeasty character, citrus notes, with a fine crisp palate. The Bathers’ Pavilion house favourite: fresh apples, almond and brioche. Complex yet subtle with a delicate bead. WHITE WINE Capital Wine The Whip Riesling 2009 A limey Riesling from the cool district of Canberra. It also has delicate floral notes, is dry and refreshingly moorish. An easy drinking Sauvignon, Semillon blend. Fruit driven style, with passionfruit, citrus and hints of herbs A quirky blend of Arneis, Savignin and Traminer. A fruity aromatic wine, with ripe pears, stonefruits and almond. This Italian wine blends local varieties: Falanghina, Malvasia and Bombino. The palate is light and tangy, with hints of white flowers, almond and citrus. A concentrated example of this variety, with the richness of stonefruit and a delicate nuttiness. Whilst there is initial fruit sweetness, the palate has lovely texture and a long, dry finish. A slightly richer style of Sauvignon blanc, with a savoury flinty character, dried herb notes and subtle passionfruit flavour. From an organically farmed vineyard, this wine is fruit driven with subtle tropical fruit, citrus and a fresh dry finish. First Creek Winemaker’s Reserve Semillon 2007 This wine is showing the beginnings of how Hunter Semillon benefits from time. Toast, honey, lemon curd and racy acid. This N.S.W wine hits the mark for delivering fresh peach and citrus flavours, whilst not overly heavy for summer drinking. Pink Claw Rosé 2010 (by Yabby Lake vineyard) Made from 100% Pinot Noir, a deliciously dry rosé, lightly textures with fresh cranberry, cherry and floral notes. RED WINE Josef Chromy Pepik Pinot Noir 2010 An easy, everyday drinking style that is fresh and ready to enjoy! Soft, fruit driven Pinot, with cherry and plums. A fleshy red from Southern France made with Cinsault and Mourvèdre. A fun wine, with juicy blackcurrants, floral tones and mixed spice. A bit different and a great summer red! Scotchmans Hill Pinot Noir 2008 A medium bodied pinot, complex layers of red fruits, spice and earth with a slight sappy flavour and fine tannins. Fiore Chianti 2009 A Sangiovese which is typical in style for a simpler example of Chianti. Lighter bodied with food friendly tannins and ready to accompany a pizza. Ripe plumy fruit, with a hint of dried herbs, old leather and fine tannins. Delicious ripe blackberry fruit, with gentle peppery and spice palate. Fine grained tannins with a floral hint to finish. An elegant, medium bodied shiraz that delivers a delicious drink with dark fruits, spice, cloves earthy undertones. Mouvèdre is a black skinned variety that can produce robust spicy wines. Made from traditional dry grown bush vines, this wine has rich dark fruits, bramble, sage and velvety texture. Thompson Estate Locum Cabernet, Merlot 2008 Hallmark Margaret River character on this wine: cassis, plums, eucalypt and dried herbs with powdery dusty tannins. DESSERT WINE Pirie Clark’s Botrytis Riesling 2007 Unctuous, rich with lime and orange marmalade flavours. Fresh, bright acidity. Château La Caussade St Croix-du-Mont 2007 Botrytis Semillon / Sauvignon Blanc. Lightly grilled nuts, apricots, lime and nutmeg spice flavours. Subtle with a dryish finish.
