In finely divided dust form, material is assumed to be combustible. As with all dry powders it is advisable to ground mechanical equipment in contact with dry material to dissipate the potential build-up of static electricity. Emits toxic fumes under fire conditions.
Section 6 - Accidental Release Measures STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: FOR LARGE SPILLS: Evacuate area and ventilate. Stay upwind. Eliminate ignition sources. Lay down inert
absorbent material such as diatomaceous earth or vermiculite, dike to control spill if necessary. Using recommended protective equipment, pick up bulk of spill and containerize for recovery or disposal. Flush area with water to remove residues.

Store in a tightly closed container in a dry, cool
area. Avoid contact with material. Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure. Lab should be equipped with a safety shower and an eye wash station. Wash thoroughly after handling material. Keep away from heat and open flames. Material should only be handled by qualified, experienced professionals.
