Step 6: After completing Page Two of the form, click the Save button to proceed to the e-Tranzact payment Page gateway. Click on Continue to Payment button. Step 7: Enter the Confirmation Order and the Receipt Number on yr e-Tranzact receipt in the appropriate boxes provided, and then click on Submit. You will get an instant message to let you know if your payment was successful or not. Log out if your payment was successful. POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES AVAILABLE AT THE CENTRE FOR WOMEN, GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT STUDIES (CWGDS) FOR THE 2013/2014 ACADEMIC SESSION. 1) Postgraduate Diploma Programme
Admission Requirements The minimum requirements for admission to these programmes are as follows:
Five O’ Level Credit Passes including English and Mathematics
HND with a minimum of Upper Credit from any approved Polytechnic or
B.Sc. Degree in any related discipline from any approved university
Mode of Study The PGD programmes will have a minimum residence period of two semesters and a maximum of four semesters. The programmes will consist of thought advanced lecture courses, seminars and a literature- based project dissertation on any specialized topic. At least 12 credit units and a maximum of 18 credit units per semester can be registered. But a minimum of 24 credit units must be earned before a Postgraduate student can be qualified for award of a PGD. 2) M.Sc Degree Programme Admission Requirements The minimum requirements for admission to M.Sc. Programmes consist of the following:
Five ‘O’ Level Credit Passes including English Language and Mathematics
A Bachelor Degree from FUTO or any other recognized University with at least a good Second Class Honours qualification
A third Class Degree from FUTO or any other recognized University plus a PGD in Gender Studies.
Mode of Study/Duration of Programme There will be two modes of study, namely full-time and part-time. The full-time programme for M.Sc. shall run for a minimum of 3 semesters and a maximum of 8 semesters. The M.Sc. programme will involve course work and dissertation. In addition to being eligible for the M.Sc. degree, a candidate will be required to register at least 14 credit units and a maximum of 18 credit units per semester; but a minimum of 30 credit units must be earned before a postgraduate student can be qualified for award of M.Sc.
