0235 An officer was sent to the Kettering Jail for a prisoner detail. Beavercreek Police had arrested Justin D. Dunham W/M 26 and transported him to our jail on our failure to comply warrant; original charge was no brake lights. 2012-18648 1017 Officers were dispatched to K & G Bike Shop, 4090 Marshall Road, for an intoxicated male. Roger H. Lammers II W/M 51 was highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and taken to the Kettering Jail. 2012-51128 1504 An officer was dispatched to Meijer, 4075 Wilmington Pike, on the report of a shoplifter in custody. The female suspect removed the security tags and concealed five DVD’s, valued at $151.95, in a large purse. The female made no effort to purchase the hidden property. Dana L. Newton W/F 41 was arrested for Theft and Criminal Tools and taken to the Kettering Jail. 2012-51166 1647 An officer was dispatched to 3512 Pobst Drive on the report of a family problem. The wife, who was the suspect, had fled the residence prior to the officer arriving. The wife had assaulted her husband and fled to the City of Dayton. Diane M. Stroud W/F 50 was located and arrested for Domestic Violence. She was transported to the Kettering Jail. 2012-51168 2146 An officer was sent to Trader Joe’s, 328 East Stroop Road, for a person soliciting for money. The officer learned the suspect was asking for money, so he could put gas into a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was entered stolen by the Dayton Police Department. The suspect also had a warrant through Michigan for a probation violation. 0510 An officer learned of a wanted person being discharged from Miami Valley Hospital South, 2400 Miami Valley Drive, in Centerville. The suspect had a warrant for Theft through our agency and officers responded to arrest him. 0030 An officer stopped a vehicle on Valleywood Drive at East Dorothy Lane for an equipment violation. The driver was under a suspension through the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. A search of the vehicle resulted in officers locating drugs and drug paraphernalia. Casey M. Brandt W/F 24 was arrested for Possession of Drugs and transported to the Kettering Jail. 2012-51623 0340 An officer sent a teletype request to the Dayton Police Department to check an address for a wanted person on our warrant. The officer met a Dayton officer and took custody of Matthew M. Jones W/M 38 on a failure to comply warrant; original charge of no driver’s license. Jones was taken to the Kettering Jail. 2012-31367 1608 Officers went to 1609 Carrollton Avenue to serve an arrest warrant. The wanted person was not there but was found on foot near Carillon Park. Corey D. Blair W/M 20 was arrested for the Kettering Court warrant; original charge was Theft. He was transported to the Kettering Jail. 2012-21934 1639 An officer observed a person driving with a suspended driver’s license on Patterson Road near Barney Avenue. Derrick M. Dwillis W/M 23 was arrested for Driving Under Suspension and transported to our jail. 2012-51731 2149 An officer was dispatched to Rustic Lane Apartments, in the 3300 block of Wilmington Pike for a theft complaint. The officer discovered the suspect had a warrant with our department. John F. He was transported to the Kettering Jail. 2012-51809 1334 An officer was relayed a message via their mobile data terminal, regarding a reckless driver on Far Hills Avenue. The vehicle was located and stopped on Far Hills Avenue and Winding Way. The driver, Charles Moore W/M 36 was arrested for a warrant; original charge was Theft. He was transported to the Kettering Jail. 2012-51863 1630 An officer observed a person with a warrant through our department at 2080 Valley Forge Drive. The officer contacted the male and the warrant was verified. Bonu Gauss B/M 27 was arrested and taken to our jail. 2012-26928 1803 Officers were dispatched to Shell gas station, 3151 East Dorothy Lane for a robbery in progress. The caller advised that the clerk was texting her saying that there was a black male in the store demanding money. An officer arrived and observed the blinds on the windows were closed. An officer located a suspect in front of Sure Shots, 3121 East Dorothy Lane, and detained him. The clerk positively identified the suspect. Matthew A. Townsend B/M 21 was arrested for Attempted Robbery and taken to the Kettering Jail. 2012-51904 1805 Officers were sent to Walgreens, 2140 East Dorothy Lane, for a person attempting to pass an altered prescription. The suspect had recently left Kettering Hospital with a prescription for Keflex. The suspect crossed out the word Keflex and wrote Percocet. Lacey N. Rader W/F 20 was arrested for Illegal Processing of a Drug Document and taken to our jail. 2012-51905 2055 Officers responded to 5690 Coach Drive West to serve an arrest warrant. Timothy A. 0023 An officer was dispatched to the Montgomery County Jail for a prisoner detail. Ronald J. Sears W/M 47 was arrested on our failure to comply warrant; original charge of Disorderly Conduct. Sears was taken to our jail. 2012-46413 0241 An officer observed a vehicle make several traffic violations on West Dorothy at South Dixie Highway. The vehicle was stopped and the driver appeared to be impaired. Amber K. Hamby W/F 26 failed the field sobriety tests and was arrested for OVI. She was taken to the Kettering Jail. 2012-51958 0527 An officer heard an audible alarm at Cassano's, 1680 East Stroop Road, and found a male at the business. The male claimed he had set off the alarm after finding the front door open and he went inside setting the alarm off. He was intoxicated and nearly fell over while speaking to officers. Brent C. Hamilton W/M 23 was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Kettering Jail. 2012-51963 0545 Officers were dispatched to the area of 1524 Horlacher Avenue for a family trouble. The male involved in the family problem left the scene and was walking in the neighborhood. Michael Larue W/M 31 was highly intoxicated and arrested for Disorderly Conduct. He was taken to the Kettering Jail. 2012-51964 1456 An officer was dispatched to Storms Road and Schuyler Drive for a suspicious vehicle. An occupant in the vehicle had a warrant with the Middletown Police Department. Ace H. Northrup W/M 48 was arrested and taken to the Kettering Jail. 2012-52015 2112 Officers were dispatched to AmeriStop, 1920 East Whipp Road for a person passed out in a vehicle. The male was awakened after several attempts and appeared to be very intoxicated. Steven G. 0230 Officers responded to the area of East Dorothy Lane and Galewood Street for two intoxicated males stumbling in the roadway. The males were located in the 2900 block of Galewood. The males were highly intoxicated and one of the males had a warrant with Dayton Police. Jerry L. Alexander W/M 42 was arrested for the warrant. Ronald M. Alexander W/M 45 was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Both were taken to the Kettering Jail. 2012-52122 0450 An officer was dispatched to the Montgomery County Jail on a warrant service. Jacob M. Gross W/M 20 was arrested for a failure to comply warrant; original charge was Drug Possession and transported to our jail. 2012-5841 1153 Officers were dispatched to Meijer, 4075 Wilmington Pike for a person shoplifting. An officer stopped the suspect as he was leaving the store. Aaron E. Bowling W/M 28 was arrested for Theft after leaving with a new pair of shoes and making no effort to purchase them. He was taken to the Kettering Jail. 2012-52155 1456 An officer was dispatched to West Stroop Road and South Dixie Highway to meet a Miamisburg police officer for a prisoner transfer. Juan C. Noria W/M 21 was arrested for a Kettering Police warrant and transported to the Kettering Jail. 2012-45914 2244 Officers were dispatched to 4967 Harwich Street for a possible suicidal subject. An officer met with a female at a different location, and said her boyfriend had made suicidal threats. Other officers spoke to the boyfriend, and he did not appear suicidal. The female said her boyfriend had assaulted her this evening and also on Friday night. Luis M. Celis H/M 24 was arrested for Domestic Violence and taken to the Kettering Jail. 2012-52238
